WHAT WE DO:

• We educate and advocate on issues related to the status and equality of women and girls, education, human rights, peace, justice and the environment;
• We provide scholarships, awards and bursaries;
• We participate in worthwhile projects within our community and beyond;
• We teach The Seashore Unit, a hands-on educational experience using live intertidal animals; and
• We provide many opportunities for personal growth, friendship and fun.

GENERAL MEETINGS

Our club meets monthly on the fourth Monday of every month (September to May). Meetings are held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Hall, 4235 Departure Bay Road, usually at 7:30 pm. Women are invited to join us at all meetings.

The format of our general meeting includes a presentation on a variety of interesting topics using speakers, panels, educational programs or hands-on activities, followed by social time with tea and coffee and a short business meeting.

In addition to general meetings, small groups of members join each other for discussion, activity, friendship and fun in various Interest Groups.
